Unlocking the Promises of Psalms 119 Bible Study - Review
Hello my fellow Bereans, and study partner of God's word.
Do you ever think about studying the Bible and get a hiccup, or overwhelming feeling in the pit of your stomach? What if I asked you to study the longest chapter in the Bible?
Yep, I'm talking about Psalms 119, which has 176 verses in it. Let me guess, that pit is back.
I recently had the opportunity to review a Bible Study on Psalms 119 by Sarah Koontz, and this 3 week Bible Study is a great opportunity for you to tackle such a big and overwhelming Bible Chapter. Sign up here.
Our Bible Study group at church is in Psalms and the running joke is that it will take a year to finish just Psalms 119. Well, Sarah has created something great, and this Bible study is great even if you don't have hours and hours to spend. I mean, if you have kids, you can work through this Bible Study in 10 minutes while waiting for your kids to get out of school.
Sarah has broken down the chapter into 22 bite sized pieces, but why. I love how Sarah puts it.
"The psalmist was so passionately committed to studying God's Word, so in love with his Creator, so devoted to following God's ways....I was absolutely captivated by him and I felt an immediate connection with him." – Sarah Koontz
What do I think of “Unlocking the Promises of Psalms 119?
Unlocking the Promises of Psalms 119 is a great study that works even for the busiest person. Sarah has done a great job at bringing the promises from the longest chapter in the Bible out in small bit sized pieces that you can really meditate on.
You know what else is cool. You can truly share the promises with your friends using the free images that Sarah has created. (I have added a few of my favorites to this post so you can see what I mean.)
"Faith is the Spark that Ignites the Fire of Revival in Your Heart." - Sarah Koontz
